How are projects selected and prioritized?
Projects are selected and prioritized primarily on condition, but other factors do enter into the final selection process. These factors include age, material, location, number of customers served, etc. The District has developed a Water Master Plan, which utilizes these factors to assist District staff in the development of project pre-placement lists. These lists will help maintain and improve infrastructure to ensure reliable delivery of safe potable water to our community now and in the future.
