Description: The Alta Via/Monan Way Water Main Replacement Project replaces water lines in the Brookdale area that were destroyed in 2020 by the CZU Lightning Complex fire. The project installs high-strength, long-lasting iron pipe in place of polyethylene plastic that was consumed by the fire. Crews will install approximately 1,883 lineal feet of 6-inch water main and approximately 4,025 lineal feet of 8-inch main. The project also calls for replacement of associated fittings, valves and hydrants, as well as relocation or reconnection of 40 water connections.
