The District has 9 active surface water intakes! An intake is a catchment system used to collect stream or creek water. The water is then sent to one of the District's two treatment plants and then distributed into our water system.
Surface water will become the DIstrict's main source of water as we are entering rainy season. This then allows our wells to rest and recharge. Bring on some rain!
