BOARD OF DIRECTOR'S AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Lorenzo Valley Water District will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the Operations Building, 13057 Highway 9, Boulder Creek, California, at 7:30 p.m.

1.Convene Meeting/Roll Call

  Chairperson of the Board of Directors calls the Open Session meeting to order. District Secretary calls roll for the Board of Directors.-No documents available in this section.

Minutes

 a.Regular Meeting of August 17, 2006

 

 

Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve the Minutes of the of Regular Meeting of August 17, 2006 Board of Directors meeting.

  The Board of Directors receives, amends (if necessary) and approves the Minutes from the previous Board of Directors meeting.

   

3.Additions and Deletions to Agenda

 

Chairperson of the Board of Directors inquires if there are any additions or deletions to the agenda. Additions to the Agenda, if any, may only be made in accordance with California Government Code Section 54954.2 (Ralph M. Brown Act) which includes, but is not limited to, additions for which the need to take action is declared to have arisen after the agenda was posted, as determined by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors (or if less than two-thirds of the members are present, a unanimous vote of those members present).-No documents available in this section.

  

4.Oral Communications

 

The Chairperson of the Board of Directors gives the public the opportunity to address items which are not on the Agenda. Any person may address the Board of Directors at this time, on any subject that lies within the jurisdiction of the District. Normally, presentations must not exceed three (3) minutes in length, and individuals may only speak once during Oral Communications. No actions may be taken by the Board of Directors on any Oral Communications presented; however, the Board of Directors may request that the matter be placed on a future agenda.-No documents available in this section.

Board to cast a vote on behalf of the District in the LAFCO Special District
Representative Election.

 c.Annual Disclosure Report of Employee Reimbursements for Fiscal Year 2005-
2006.

  Consideration and possible action by the Board to accept and file the Annual
Disclosure Report of Employee Reimbursements for Fiscal Year 2005-2006.

 d.Biennial Review of San Lorenzo Valley Water District Conflict of Interest Code.

  Consideration and possible action by the Board relative to the biennial review of
the District’s Conflict of Interest Code.

 e.Budget Amendment Fiscal Year 2006-2007; Nina Tanks Repair Project.

  Consideration and possible action by the Board to approve a Budget Amendment
for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 relative to the proposed Nina Tank Repair Project.

 f.Public Hearing regarding Amendment of Ordinance 8, Article 16 Account
Security Deposits

  Public Hearing, consideration and possible action by the Board to amend the
District’s existing ordinance which would terminate the accrual of interest on
account security deposits held by the District.
