The San Lorenzo Valley Water District has changed the format of the water bill. As you can see below it is much different than our previous bill. Using your mouse pointer Click on the the shaded areas on the image below. A brief explanation of that area will be displayed. Customers Mailing Address, Not Always The Same As The Service Address Water District Address, Phone Number, Office Hours And Website. Please Contact Our Office At (831) 338-2153 To Answer Your Questions And Provide Assistance Regarding Your Account. This Area Shows Your Account Number, The Amount Due And Due Date. Detach Here, The Top Half Of Your Bill Should Be Detached And Returned With Your Payment, The Bottom Half Is For Your Records This Area Shows Your Account Number, The Address Of The Property Being Serviced, The Meter Number And Size This Area Shows The Due Date, The Service Period Covered, The Prior Period's Meter Reading, The Current Meter Reading, And The Difference Between The Two Resulting In The Current Usage. In This Ares You Will See Any Previous Balance Since The Last Billing Period, Find The Current Charges Consisting Of A Basic Charge Plus A Usage Charge. Current Charges Are Calculated By Adding The Basic Service Charge, Determined By The Water Meter Size, And A Water Usage Charge Based Upon The Amount Of Water Used. Water Usage Is Calculated On A 5-Tier Rate Structure, Although Many Customers Will Only See One Or Two Of The Tiers On Their Bill Due To Low Usage. Usage Information< This Area Compares The Amount Of Water Used This Year To The Amount Of Water Used At The Same Time Last Year Total Amount Due, This Area Reflects Current Charges Plus Any Remaining Balances From Prior Billings. Message And Information Area, Check This Area For Important Information Regarding Billing, Rebate Programs, Conservation Tips And Year To Date Rainfall.
