When you purchase and install an approved Ultra Low Flow (ULF) toilet, the San Lorenzo Valley Water District will credit you the cost of the toilet up to $100.00. Credit will be given for the replacement of an existing 3.5 or greater gallon per flush (gpf) toilet with a new 1.6 gpf or less toilet.
ULF toilets use water more efficiently, only 1.6 gallons per flush, rather than 3.5 to 7 gallons on the older designs. As of January 1, 1994, ULF toilets are the only types of toilet sold in California.
This program is available to all qualified customers of the San Lorenzo Valley Water District. Funding is limited and applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis until allocated funds are exhausted.
