The San Lorenzo Valley Water District

is located in the mountains of Northern Santa Cruz County, Boulder Creek, Ca. map 

The SLVWD serves more than 6100 metered connections. Established in 1941 the District supplies water to the communities of Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Zayante, Scotts Valley and now Felton..

Beginning its journey from deep water wells or from our state of the art Surface Water Treatment Plant these areas receive water through a network of water lines totaling more than 116 miles. Operated with the assistance of a SCADA system (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) the Operations Department can monitor and control all aspects of water production, treatment and distribution from most anywhere.

On Friday, September 5th San Lorenzo Valley Water District will assume ownership and operation of the Felton water system. On behalf of the District's Board of Directors and staff, we would like to extend you our warmest welcome.

The District's main office is located at 13060 Highway 9, Boulder Creek, CA, 95006. Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can reach the District's Customer Service, Administrative, and Operations Departments by telephone at (831) 338-2153. You may also use this telephone number to contact the District after regular business hours for emergencies or other related problems. Outside regular business hours, phone calls to this number will be answered by a local answering service, which will contact the District's 24 hour on-call staff to respond to your needs. District Honored for its Success in Acquiring Felton Water System

Connie Barr, co-founder of Felton FLOW, presents SLVWD Board Chair Terry Vierra with a resolution from the California State Legislature honoring the community of Felton, FLOW and the San Lorenzo Valley Water District for their successful efforts to acquire the Felton Water system from California-American Water.

Barr also presented proclamations honoring this effort from Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, the County Board of Supervisors and the Montara Water District.

The proclamations will be displayed in the District’s Board Room.
