Annual
Water Quality Information
Since
1990 the San Lorenzo Valley Water District has been distributing
an Annual Water Quality Report to its customers. Past reports
have been titled Water Wise or Annual Water Quality Report. Due
to more strict guidlines and the uniqueness of the distribution
area of the District, we are now producing TWO Annual Water Quality
Reports. We are producing one for the Northern Distribution Area
and one for our Southern Distribution Area. Communities served
in the Northern area include, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond
and Zayante. The Southern distribution area streches from the
Probation Center on Graham Hill road to Lockwood Lane, neighborhoods
in the Whispering Pines area, Oak Tree Villa and Spring Lakes
in Scotts Valley.
In
1996, Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act, adding a requirement
that water systems deliver to their customers a brief annual water
quality report, similar to the Annual Water Quality Report (AWQR)
that California utilities have been distributing since 1990.
Every
year the SLVWD produces the Annual Water Quality Report to be
distributed to customers. The data covered in the report is for
the previous calendar year and is mailed by June 30 each year.
