Since 1990 the San Lorenzo Valley Water District has been distributing an Annual Water Quality Report to its customers. Past reports have been titled Water Wise or Annual Water Quality Report. Due to more strict guidelines and the uniqueness of the distribution area of the District, we are now producing Four (4) Annual Water Quality Reports.
We now produce one CCR Report for the entire SLVWD distribution system. In the report there is a brief description of each system and a table with the constituents and the values we detected. The distribution system is dived into four areas, Northern distribution system , the Felton distribution system, Southern distribution system and Manana Woods.
Communities served in the Northern area include, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Ben Lomond and Zayante. The community of Felton, The Southern distribution area from the Probation Center on Graham Hill road to Lockwood Lane, Whispering Pines area, Oak Tree Villa and Spring Lakes in Scotts Valley and one for the Manana Woods system.
In 1996, Congress amended the Safe Drinking Water Act, adding a requirement that water systems deliver to their customers a brief annual water quality report, similar to the Annual Water Quality Report (AWQR) that California utilities have been distributing since 1990.
Every year the San Lorenzo Valley Water District produces Annual Water Quality Reports for all the distribution systems. The data covered in the report is for the previous calendar year and due by June 30 each year.
In an effort to help conserve resources, the District no longer prints or mails the Annual Water Quality Report. Customers are encouraged to view the online version, in there you will find water quality information for your area . If you are not able to view the report come to or call the District Office at 831 338 2153 to pick up or make arrangements for one to be provided.
